Ever since its inception the Disaster Management Committee,
DMC in short has assisting local people by disseminating
possible knowledge to save lives from uncertain natural
calamities. The main objective of the DMC is to reduce to the
higher possible extent any kind of the danger or accident that
might occur at any time due to the unforeseen calamities. For
this purpose, it has been successful providing various first aid
training and awareness programs to the community.
So far we have received several workshops and training to the
issue, we have been able to
contribute a lot to the community of
Ward No. 17 by organizing the various programs.
DMC is always
ready to help the people in the comforting the problem arising
due to such disaster. Recently in 2061 DMC has organized Photo
Exhibition in front of the Chhetrapati, Kathmandu Nepal and at
the NEPAL Scout ground on account of the Earthquake Day.
